Conceptual Autonomy and Semantic Identity in EU Law: Balancing on the Edge of Prescription and Extinguishment of a Right

By examining the nature of time limit for right to compensation damage caused by defective products (Article 11 Directive 85/374/EEC – Product Liability Directive) in relation Slovak legal order (Act no. 294/1999 Coll. on implementing EU Directive), authors address question consequences conflict between different language versions Directive. At same time, they examine whether semantic identity linguistic expressions and conceptual autonomy a term law do not allow implementation environments.
